Talibon PNP Station Recipient of Bulletproof Vests and Kevlar Helmets


The Talibon PNP Station received, from Mayor Restituto B. Auxtero, Ten (10) Level 3 bulletproof vests and Kevlar helmets worth P190,000.00.  The vests and helmets were handed over to Chief Edward Sanchez after the flag ceremony on July 11, 2016 and were put on by the task force, for all to see.

Talibon Municipal Officials Took Oath of Office

Newly elected and re-elected municipal officials took their oath of office within the Eucharistic Celebration done at the Blessed Trinity Cathedral at 8:00 o’clock in the morning of June 30, 2016; as has been the practice since time immemorial.  Mass was officiated by Rev. Fr. Cosme Damian R.  Almedilla, in the absence of Bishop Patrick Daniel Y. Parcon, D.D.

“El Niño” Food Packs Distributed in Talibon


The Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office of Talibon initially distributed a total of 3891 food packs to selected constituents who were greatly affected by the El Niño phenomenon starting June 9 until the 14th.   Most of the packs were distributed at the CPG Multi-purpose Center while some were brought to the barangays and distributed there.  Each of the pack consists of 6 kilos of rice, 6 cans sardines and a 6.6-liter bottle of mineral water.

Talibon PNP Station Recipient of “Silver Eagle Award”


Early morning of May 30, 2016, during the Monday “Flag Ceremony” ritual, the Talibon Police Force, led by its Chief Police PSI Eduard A. Sanchez, proudly showed off to the crowd the prestigious “Silver Eagle Award” with accompanying compliant certificates which they received from the Bohol Police Provincial Office, Camp Francisco Dagohoy, Tagbilaran City, Bohol.
