- Parent Category: ROOT
The Talibon PNP Station received, from Mayor Restituto B. Auxtero, Ten (10) Level 3 bulletproof vests and Kevlar helmets worth P190,000.00. The vests and helmets were handed over to Chief Edward Sanchez after the flag ceremony on July 11, 2016 and were put on by the task force, for all to see.
In a short talk, Mayor Auxtero imparted that he felt obligated to provide the vests and helmets as protection for the task force assigned to combat criminality, especially that of eliminating the drug menace in the municipality.
LGU-Talibon set aside P250,000.00 for these project. The remaining P60,000.00 will be used to purchase more of these safety gears for other police officers who are clamoring for them. Hopefully, in the near future, all Talibon police force will be provided with the necessary protection. (ellenmarieobuno)
