With regards to the “Brigada Agensya” Plaque of Recognition, the Municipality of Talibon was recognized for its immediate rehabilitation of its municipal hall and other infrastructures when they incurred damages after the October 15, 2013 earthquake.

Mayor Restituto B. Auxtero’s main concern was the safety of the employees and so rehabilitation was given priority. Work started immediately with municipal funds. Full rehab was accomplished, complete with the total makeover of the Hall, when financial help arrived thru the Bohol Earthquake Assistance Fund.
